every page is built from standard parts: text, images, audio, video, and code. but unlike the world some of us grew up in, the composition is malleable: a typo can be fixed, a canvas altered, a sample remixed, a frame spliced, a feature added. maybe you can’t see it, but kids can. and when children have the freedom to see how everything in their world is made, when they’re invited to play with it and alter it to make it their own, they learn how to create a world that’s better off because of them.
